Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee and optimize day-to-day operations while evaluating and enhancing sales processes to ensure financially sound decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, particularly within the ceramics or advanced materials sector, and the ability to assess existing structures and processes to drive improvement and growth. The role requires onsite leadership, managing a team of approximately 30 employees, with support from a dedicated team eager to collaborate and execute strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  2. Evaluate and refine sales processes to drive company growth and scalability.
  3. Assess current operational structures and implement necessary improvements.
  4. Lead a team of approximately 30 employees, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  5. Drive change management and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  6. Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards in ceramics and advanced materials manufacturing.
  7. Make financially sound decisions to support company stability and long-term success.
  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to align business objectives and operational strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in advanced materials or ceramics engineering with manufacturing.
  2. Experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Proficiency in process improvement and change management.
  4. Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  5. Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
  6. A self-starter with a business mindset and a passion for operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Salary Range: $150-200k base + (flexible for the right candidate) + Bonus Structure
