About this Opportunity

The Richmond Country Club (RCC) is looking for Entry Level Hourly Full-time General Maintenance Staff to join our Facilities Maintenance team. The candidate would report to the Maintenance Manager. The individual will work as a cohesive crew with the Maintenance team on a day-to-day basis, performing general cleaning tasks.

Who You Are

We need an individual who is at an entry level, with no necessary experience, but is a committed and reliable hard worker.

The successful candidate must be able to:

• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Perform cleaning tasks that may include janitorial cleaning, dusting, mopping, garbage hauling, etc.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting/carrying up to 25kg.
• Work in varying weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Previous cleaning and property maintenance experience is an asset but not required.
• Flexibly meet work shift demands including holidays and weekends.
• Attend early morning shifts starting as early as 7 am as per our Maintenance operational timings.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English is essential.

• Salary: $20.00 per hour
• Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week
• Schedule: Flexible
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Job Environment: On-site only, outdoors and in-doors
• Ability to commute: Richmond, BC - reliably commute to Number 4 road and Steveston Hwy Richmond BC. Personal cars will have parking available.
