Our client in Kimberley is seeking a meticulous General Ledger Accountant to join their finance department. The role focuses on maintaining accurate ledger entries, performing reconciliations, and supporting financial statement preparation from their established office location.

You will manage daily GL operations, post journal entries, and assist with month-end and year-end closings while contributing to ad-hoc analyses and audit-ready documentation. A detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

Responsibilities
