Vision Transportation, Inc. is seeking a reliable full-time General Labourer to support the operations team at our Belleville warehouse, located at 659 College Street East. This role runs Monday to Friday with two shifts listed, and starts at $18.00 per hour with a raise after 3 months.

Responsibilities include order prep, stock handling, inventory checks, and safe operation of warehouse equipment. We value teamwork, reliability, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
Perform inventory controls and maintain quality standards for audits.
Report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures and rules.
Assist shipping and receiving; unload trucks and check in merchandise.
Sort and place materials on racks or shelves per standards.
Open bales, crates, and other containers.
Maintain inventory controls by recording stock locations and amounts.
May assist in counting physical inventory.
Prepare parcels for mailing.

JOB PURPOSE

Our Warehouse worker’s responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
Open bales, crates, and other containers
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed
May also assist in counting of physical inventory
Prepare parcels for mailing

VISION’S ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
Wear the proper safety equipment
