Fitak Woodcraft is looking for an individual with an interest in woodworking looking to elevate their skills. Responsibilities include assisting in assembling/installing cabinets, sanding with machines and hand sanders, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free

Qualifications

• Operate basic shop machinery, sanders, or hand tools under supervision
• Ability to lift and carry wood stock, often up to 50 pounds
• Read a tape measure and use other basic measuring tools accurately
• Understand basic workshop safety
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong willingness to take direction from owner
• High school shop class or work experience an asset

Responsibilities

• Assisting in assembling/installing cabinets
• Sand with machines and hand sanders
• Load and unload materials
• Sort raw materials and check for obvious defects
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace by sweeping sawdust and clearing debris.
