Job summary

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing Group is seeking a General Labourer to perform general labour and maintenance while complying with safety regulations and company policies. You will report to the General Foreman and contribute to a safe, efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, moving materials, sorting and finishing metal parts, operating forklifts/cranes, and helping with site maintenance. Minimum 6 months related experience and strong safety awareness required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of related experience.
• Knowledge of general safety practices.
• General knowledge of basic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, listen, and speak clearly.
• Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively.
• Time management to meet deadlines.
• Physically fit to lift items weighing up to 20 kg.

• Follow directions from work orders and coworkers.
• Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually using hoists or devices.
• Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials.
• Grind and deburr sharp edges from metal parts using hand and power tools.
• Clean and maintain the work areas and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Participate in building maintenance, including landscaping and winter duties.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as required.
