Job summary

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing is seeking team members to support manufacturing operations. The role involves sorting and moving metal parts, reading work orders, and using basic tools under supervision.

Successful candidates will contribute to a safety-focused, efficient production environment. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, with pre-employment medical evaluation and BF0R fitness screening as part of hiring.

Qualifications

  • Completion of grade 10 required.
  • Ability to operate a forklift is an asset; training may be provided.
  • General knowledge of basic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials.
  • Load and unload metal parts from fixtures and moves parts using hand truck or dolly.
  • Grind and deburr sharp edges from metal parts using hand and power tools.
  • Read and interpret work orders.
  • Follow directions given on work orders and by co-workers.
  • Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually, using hoists or other devices.
  • Operate Fork Lifts, jib and overhead cranes.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Who Are You?

Reporting to the Machine Shop Foreman you will support manufacturing process by following work orders and assisting with various manual duties.

What you will do:
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
