Slegg Building Materials - Duncan is seeking a General Labourer to support the warehouse team with the preparation, loading, and unloading of building materials for delivery in Duncan, BC. The payscale for this role is $20-22 per hour.

You will help with trucks, ensure load security, maintain yard cleanliness, and assist other staff. This position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Position Purpose:

The General Labourer assists the warehouse team with the preparation, loading, and unloading of building materials for delivery. The payscale for this role is $20-22 per hour.

• Assist withthe preparation oftrucks for loading.
• Ensure load security and accuracy.
• Maintain the general appearance and housekeeping of work areas. Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Assist other warehouse staff as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Customer service in the yard.
• Load material into vehicles.
• Cut material if needed.
• General yard housekeeping.

Basic Qualifications:

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Basic hand tool skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs.
• Frequently climbing up and down stairs and onto trucks and material. Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movementswith weight.

Compensation:

The (range of) compensation for this position is $20.77 to $24.09
