Overview

We are seeking General Labourers to join our client a manufacturing company in North York for an day and afternoon shift. This role involves lifting, stacking, and part selection for furniture making. The ideal candidate will possess a manufacturing background. Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly, machining and other fabrication tasks as needed

• Load and unload materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Familiarity with machining, assembly, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required

This position is integral to our manufacturing operations, requiring a proactive individual committed to safety, quality, and efficiency.

This is an immediate requirement from our client.

Shift time 3:30pm 12:30am 7am to 3:30pm

Pay is $18.85 per hour plus shift premium
