General Labour – Crack Filling Crew & Oil Shop Technician

We’re T. Weber Co. Ltd., and for the past 48 years, we’ve been providing clients throughout the Tri-Cities area with exceptional quality and service for all their asphalt construction needs. Our expertise ranges from residential driveway paving and repairs to large-scale commercial paving projects and undercoating.

Job Overview

We are looking for general labourers to assist with various roles, including working on asphalt paving crews, repairing cracks, and supporting our local oil shop. These roles are challenging, motivating, and emphasize teamwork.

Responsibilities

1. Crack Filling Crew:
   • Cleaning parking lots
   • Routing and filling cracks with hot rubber
   • Sweeping
   • Performing general labour duties
   • Reading and following basic site drawings
2. Oil Shop Technician:
   • Oil spraying for cars, trucks, and RVs
   • Maintaining company grounds, including shop cleanliness, lawn care, gardening, and weed removal
   • Performing maintenance on small engines, equipment, and vehicles
   • Welding skills are considered an asset

Requirements

• Valid G license
• Strong mechanical inclination
• Ability to manage constant physical effort
• Ability to work safely
• Experience in paving or construction is an asset, but training will be provided

Rewards

• Steady hours for the crack crew: 40-50 hours per week until November, with alternate weekends and public holidays; opportunity to return in spring
• Oil shop hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturdays 7:45 am to 3:00 pm
