Job summary

Cascades is hiring for a General Labour position in St-Marys, Ontario. The role involves feeding machines, setup assistance, stock verification, quality monitoring, and completing administrative tasks.

You will support operators, help with repairs, and uphold health & safety and housekeeping standards in a manufacturing setting. We offer a continental shift schedule and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, pension contributions and a PPE

Responsibilities

• Feed the machines and assist with setting-up various sections on machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
• Obtain orders and verify stock specifications and condition.
• Monitor box quality and report any quality problems to the Operator.
• Complete necessary administrative duties and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist operators with job duties on machine.
• Turn in maintenance orders to shift lead for repairs.
• Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.
• Additional duties related to or not related to this job classification as assigned by shift lead

Job description

• Salary range for General Labour$24.79 / hour
• Schedulecontinental shift. 7am to 7pm for two weeks, then 7pm to 7am for the following 2 weeks.
