Job summary

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time General Labourer for our client’s growing warehouse operation in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who stay active and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, using an RF scanner, organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and supporting cycle counts while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of warehouse experience.
• Familiarity with RF scanners is an asset.
• Experience with cycle counts is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately using a picking cart.
• Use an RF scanner to locate, scan, and process products.
• Sort and place picked products into designated bins.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Scan bins and package products according to shipping requirements.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory-related tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
• Support warehouse operations with additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

This role is ideal if you have warehouse experience and are looking to develop your skills in order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics while working with a supportive team.

• Pay Rate: Day Shift: $20.50/hour | Night Shift: $21.00/hour

• Location: Halifax, NS

• Shifts: Day Shift: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM OR Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 9:00 AM

• Available Four-Day Schedules:
  Sunday – Wednesday
  Monday – Thursday
  Tuesday – Friday
  Wednesday – Saturday
  Thursday – Sunday
  Friday – Monday
  Saturday – Tuesday

• If necessary (e.g. worker needs to get home to support family/get children to school), the night shift can end at 7am.

• Job type: Temporary|Full-time

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods

• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

• Ability to pull carts and lift up to 25 lbs

• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
