Job summary

Adecco is seeking a General Labourer for a Halifax, NS warehouse. This full-time temporary role offers day or night shifts with pay rates of $20.50/hour (day) or $21.00/hour (night).

You will pick and pack orders, use an RF scanner, and help with inventory while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Eligible candidates must be legally allowed to work in Canada and reside in Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately using a picking cart.
• Use an RF scanner to locate, scan, and process products.
• Sort and place picked products into designated bins.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Scan bins and package products according to shipping requirements.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory-related tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time General Labourer for our client’s growing warehouse operation. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy staying active, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

This role is ideal if you have warehouse experience and are looking to develop your skills in order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics while working with a supportive team.

• Pay Rate: Day Shift: $20.50/hour | Night Shift: $21.00/hour

• Location: Halifax, NS

• Shifts: Day Shift: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM OR Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 9:00 AM

• Available Four-Day Schedules:
  Sunday – Wednesday
  Monday – Thursday
  Tuesday – Friday
  Wednesday – Saturday
  Thursday – Sunday
  Friday – Monday
  Saturday – Tuesday

• If necessary (e.g. worker needs to get home to support family/get children to school), the night shift can end at 7am.

• Job type: Temporary|Full-time

• Ability to pull carts and lift up to 25 lbs

• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
