Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, seeks a General Labourer for its Lloydminster, AB site. You will maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting operators and performing routine rod handling and basic equipment tasks.

The role involves manual rod manipulation, routine safety compliance, inventory support, and the use of hand and small power tools. Training for Class 3 license may be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working independently in a safe and reliable manner.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Has mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain accurate inventory.
• Operate Hydraulic Rod Pinch Roller.
• Perform Coiled Rod Fusion Welds.

• Operate an Overhead Crane.
• Utilize hand and/or small power tools.
• Other duties as required.

What You Will Do

Position Details

• Working at the Lloydminster facility dominantly
• Permanent
• Full-time
• Mainly working day shift operations, with overtime as required
• Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on business conditions

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
