Job summary

Best Metals in Fredericton, NB is seeking an energetic bottle sorter to join our locally owned team. You will load, unload, and move products by hand or with basic equipment, sort and prepare items for shipping or storage, and assist machine operators as needed while strictly following safety rules and using full PPE.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with some Saturday shifts; pay is $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial setting is an asset.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Full PPE (CSA steel toes, gloves, glasses, safety vest, hard hat) required.
• Safety-driven mindset and clear communication.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment.
• Sort and prepare products for shipping or storage; assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.
• Accurately label and tag products.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Upholding safety procedures.
• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management.
• Other labor duties as necessary.

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment
• Sort and prepare products for shipping or storageAssist machine operators and other production staff as needed.
