Job summary

Aerotek in Kamloops, BC is seeking a Laborer to assemble and install racking systems, using power drills, impacts and hand tools. You will measure distances, perform quality checks and help with general labor and maintenance.

This contract, on-site role runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights; training and safety gear are provided. Excellent team environment and steady projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• 1 year of general labor experience, preferably in construction.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to lift 50lbs.

• Experience with racking installation, iron work, scaffolding, apprentice millwright/tech, skilled labor, construction labor, carpentry, or rigging.

• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.

Work Environment

Work in a company specializing in integrated material handling and storage solutions with over 40 years of experience in the Canadian warehousing market. The project spans 6 weeks with a 1st shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Be prepared to arrive on-site by 6:45 AM on your first day. Personal protective equipment, including hard hats, steel-toe shoes, and safety vests, is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
