Job summary

Aerotek in Toronto, ON, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M2 to perform heavy maintenance, C-checks, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications on regional aircraft. This contract role requires a Transport Canada AME M2 license and at least 5 years of Dash 8 or ATR experience, with strong hands-on capability in heavy maintenance and aircraft systems.

Work is onsite in a hangar environment with day shifts and opportunities on complex projects.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AME M2 to perform heavy maintenance, C-checks, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on regional aircraft. This role supports major maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with Transport Canada regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance and C-checks on Dash 8 and ATR aircraft.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft systems and structures.
• Complete installations, structural repairs, and aircraft modifications.
• Dismantle and inspect aircraft components as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Transport Canada and company standards.

Requirements

• Valid Transport Canada AME M2 License .
• 5+ years of experience on Dash 8 or ATR aircraft , or relevant endorsement.
• Strong heavy maintenance and C-check experience.
• Proven experience with aircraft troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and modifications.

Work Environment

• Hangar-based heavy maintenance facility in Winnipeg.
• Monday-Friday shifts:
• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, or
• 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Must be open to working either shift.
• Safety-focused environment with access to all required tools, equipment, and technical documentation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $57.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
