Kapco Metal Stamping is seeking a Production General Labor team member for 1st, 2nd, or Weekend shifts at our Grafton, WI location. The role involves a variety of duties to support production and ensure quality, including operating finishing equipment, drilling, tapping, and deburring, and performing operator checks.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling physical tasks, have good communication, and be ready to contribute to a team that values growth, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Perform duties involving metal finishing equipment, drilling, tapping, deburring, and cleaning.
• Assist with punch presses as a helper.
• Support secondary operations as needed.
• Conduct operator quality checks using basic measuring devices.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• May need forklift or overhead crane training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal finishing equipment and perform drilling and deburring.
• Assist in secondary operations and punching presses.
• Record quality checks and document results.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Support production team to meet output targets.

The ideal candidate for this position would be able to complete a variety of job duties assisting production.

Duties may include:

Perform duties involving metal finishing equipment, drilling, tapping, product re-work, tube sizers, deburring, sanding and general clean up

May operate punch presses as a helper

May assist in secondary type operations

Perform operator quality checks using proper measuring devices correctly during operation and complete quality records, as required

Complete appropriate paperwork, accurately and completely

May require successful completion of Kapco's forklift or overhead crane training program

Other duties as assigned

General laborers must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Laborers must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. Computer skills, estimating skills, and the ability to communicate can help general laborers advance in this role.
