Job summary

IMT Group is seeking a General Laborer to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with material handling, equipment operation and general shop duties, emphasizing safety and quality in every task.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely independently or with a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic production setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
• Move materials throughout the facility using manual methods or equipment (e.g., electric handcart, jib cranes – certification).
• Support machine operators and production staff as needed.
• Perform basic assembly, grinding, deburring and finished tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures and PPE requirements.
• Conduct visual quality inspections of parts.
• Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to supervisors.
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned
