Job summary

Ken's Diner in Edmonton is seeking a General Kitchen Helper to support the kitchen team on a part-time basis. You will assist with food prep, dishwashing, and delivery stocking under the Head Chef's direction.

Ideal candidates have around a year of experience in the food industry, basic safety knowledge (WHMIS), and strong English communication. You’ll work in a friendly, resident-focused environment with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the food industry is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with WHMIS, safety, and sanitation preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; friendly and respectful with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support kitchen staff with general duties and food service.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment.
• Receive and store food deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness: wipe surfaces, polish stainless steel, sweep and mop floors.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a General Kitchen Helper to join our Ken’s Diner team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide general kitchen support duties under the direction of the Head Chef.
