Sodexo Group is seeking a general helper to join our team in Manitoba for a 2-month contract. You will help keep remote sites running smoothly, from food prep to dining room maintenance and daily operations, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for workers living remotely.

You will work under the First Cook, handle meal preparation and service, assist with dining room duties, and participate in supporting overall site operations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Mess Hall Attendant in a larger construction camp or institutional setting.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.
• Good attendance record.
• Good disciplinary record.
• May be required to work shifts, including split days/nights.
• Must pass a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
• Demonstrates integrity, appearance and demeanor.
• Embodies Service Spirit, Team Spirit and Spirit of Progress.
• High School Diploma an asset but not required.
• Must have food safety certificate.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Friday

Competitive Pay: 19.94$/h

• Cleans and maintains dining room area including shelves and floors.
• Cleans and sets dining room tables and fills beverage, salt, sugar, and other condimentcontainers.
• Cleans and maintains supplies for steam and salad tables, such as dishes and utensils.
• Prepares coffee and cold beverages and may be required to work on steam tables from time to time.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Must undergo and pass a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
