Job summary

West Coast Floral in Surrey, BC is seeking General Greenhouse Laborers to join our greenhouse team starting in January. No previous experience is required, though plant knowledge is an asset.

You will pot and plant, weed and maintain crops, lift and move plants and trays, and assist with greenhouse production and general labor as needed. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, able to work in all weather, and capable of long shifts up to 10 hours a day, six days a week.

Qualifications

• No formal education or previous experience required.
• Plant knowledge is an asset.
• English is an asset but not required.
• Must be physically capable of repetitive bending, standing, lifting, and carrying throughout the workday.
• Must be able to work in a greenhouse environment and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be willing to work up to 10 hours per day, 6 days a week.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
