Job summary

Shared Health is seeking a General Duty Cardiology Technologist at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg to perform electrocardiograms, GXT tests, and Holter analyses while training staff and maintaining patient-focused care.

Required CSCT certification with Cardiology Technology Program completion; in-person work with flexible shifts and strong inter-professional collaboration.

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager Diagnostic Services, the General Duty Cardiology Technologist is responsible for: performing electrocardiograms, carrying out peer/trainee functional instruction, performing graded exercise tests (GXT), performing Holter hook-ups and analysis, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience

• Recent experience as a certified Cardiology Technologist is preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Successful completion of an approved Cardiology Technology Program.
• Registration/Certified by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.

Note

Applicants who obtained their certification by CSCT at the Advanced level prior to 1995, and are currently still certified at the Advanced Level, will be deemed to meet the above qualification requirements.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Current certification by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) required as a member in good standing.
