Job summary

Pritchard Industries in Moncton, NB, is hiring a Day Porter/General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness across facilities. You will vacuum, mop, sweep, empty trash, clean restrooms and break rooms, and perform related duties to keep spaces healthy and safe. This is a full-time role with a 40-hour week.

Shifts are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We value initiative, reliability and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Full-Time position available.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming floors, mopping and sweeping.
• Trash removal and cleaning of rest rooms and break rooms.
• Perform miscellaneous cleaning tasks to keep facilities healthy and safe.

We are seeking to hire a Day Porter/General Cleaner. You may be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Full-Time
• Pay range $15.00 - $17.00/HR
• Hours 40 hrs/week, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
