Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated Security Guard - Gatehouse Operations in a warehouse setting to protect personnel and property in Inglewood, Ontario. The role includes welcome and screening of entrants, long patrols, monitoring VVM systems, and prompt incident reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence and a current Ontario Security Licence, with First Aid/ CPR certification and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G Drivers Licence (mandatory).
• Experience with mobile patrols and surveillance systems (VVM).
• Strong computer skills, including report writing, typing, and basic system navigation.
• Ability to communicate clearly, stay professional under pressure, and work independently or in a team.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security Licence.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen visitors and employees, ensuring proper security protocols are followed.
• Conduct long walk patrols throughout the facility and outdoor areas.
• Monitor and operate video surveillance systems (VVM).
• Provide exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors.
• Perform mobile patrols as required for site safety.
• Document and report security incidents and safety hazards promptly.
• Respond to emergencies per established protocols.
• Collaborate with warehouse team and management for secure operations.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and access logs.
