Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional - Gatehouse Guard in Bolton, Ontario, for a part-time role. The position pays $18.50 per hour with a Monday–Friday morning schedule (09:30am–1:30pm) at a manufacturing site.

Responsibilities include site surveillance, access control, incident reporting, emergency response, and ensuring overall safety. Candidates need 1–2 years gatehouse experience, a valid Ontario Security License, and the ability to work 40 hours weekly total eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in gatehouse operations or security roles.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be 18+ years old for insurance purposes.
• Good computer and typing skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours/week.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Site surveillance and patrols to secure premises.
• Maintain visibility at designated posts and secure sensitive areas.
• Enforce access control and log visitors.
• Maintain radio communications and report incidents promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and contact services as needed.
• Document incidents and handover notes for shifts.

• Follow safety policies and use PPE as required.

Job Title: Security Professional - Gatehouse Guard

Location: Bolton, Ontario.

Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Shifts: Monday - Friday

Schedule: 09:30am - 1:30pm | Morning shift

Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Professional - Gatehouse Guardto join our team at a Manufacturing site in Bolton, Ontario. This position involves providing security and monitoring services 24/7, with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
• Access Control: Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication: Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures: Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties: Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years of experience working in Gatehouse operations
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
• Must have good knowledge of computer and typing skills
• Great customer service and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
