GardaWorld is seeking a Gatehouse Security Guard for an industrial facility in Mississauga, Ontario. You will monitor security systems, control access, and patrol premises to ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario security license
• Valid First Aid certification
• Strong report-writing skills
• 6+ months security experience (gatehouse preferred)
• Gatehouse experience is an asset
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escape in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

• Ability to stand and walk throughoutshift
