Job summary

Beyond Housing Limited in Whitby is seeking a qualified gas heating engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for domestic gas heating installation, servicing and repair across our housing stock and may install boilers and heating systems as required.

The role includes an out-of-hours call out service on a 1 week in 4 or 5 basis as part of a small, dedicated team. Applicants should have NVQ 3 in plumbing or City & Guilds advanced plumbing craft and proven experience in gas and heating

An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified and experienced gas heating engineer to join Beyond Housing.

Based at Whitby, the successful candidate will be qualified and experienced in domestic gas and heating installation, servicing and repair, and will provide an out-of-hours call out service on a 1 week in 4 or 5 basis, as part of a small, dedicated team of engineers.

As part of this role you'll be required to undertake gas repairs, maintenance and servicing in domestic properties - you may also be required to install boilers and heating systems across our housing stock.

We'll need you to be qualified and experienced in the following:

• NVQ 3 level in plumbing, or equivalent City & Guilds advance plumbing craft
• Proven experience of gas and heating installation, repairs and servicing in domestic properties, and you must have a full driving licence.
