Job summary

British Gas is seeking Heating Installation engineers to join our team of experienced Gas Engineers. You will install and upgrade central heating systems, ensuring customers receive timely, high‑quality service and support.

Candidates should have ACS qualifications (CCN1/CENWAT) and at least 3 years of full installation experience, with electrical knowledge for heating systems. Base salary is £45,806 with uncapped OTE through our field reward scheme, reflecting a long tradition of serving homes

Qualifications

• Current ACS qualifications (CCN1 and CENWAT) or equivalent in plumbing or heating.
• 3 year’s qualified experience behind you of full system installations.
• Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade central heating systems and components.
• Ensure high quality customer experience on every visit.
• Provide reliable fault finding and maintenance support as required.

About your role:

We need Heating Installation engineers to join our team of experienced Gas Engineers, to ensure that our customers get the help they need, when they need it. Being there for our customers is our priority.

Base Salary is £45,806 with uncapped OTE through our fantastic field reward scheme.

You will join a team that’s focused on putting smiles on our customers faces and keeping the nations homes warm for winter by installing and upgrading central heating systems. We are looking for engineers with extensive experience in full installations, upgrades, conversions, and other associated plumbing works.
