Job summary

Central Alberta Co-op’s Taylor Drive Gas Bar in Red Deer is seeking a part-time Gas Bar Attendant to deliver exceptional customer service, operate the register, and assist with fuel dispensing and shop duties. The role requires mornings, afternoons, and evenings across weekdays and weekends, with a 24–36 hour work week and benefit eligibility after 3 months.

Experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training is provided.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Previous cash handling and POS experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels.
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently.
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision – applicable locations.
• Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations.
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our Taylor Drive Gas Bar in Red Deer is the perfect place for you! We're currently seeking a part-time Gas Bar Attendant to join our dynamic team.

Position: Gas Bar Attendant

Part-time: 24to36hours per week.Benefiteligibleafter3months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision – applicable locations
• Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available
