Job summary

Central Alberta Co-op is hiring a part-time Gas Bar Attendant in Red Deer to deliver friendly service and efficient payment processing. The role involves stocking, cleaning, and operating at the gas bar with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle cash, and assist with merchandising and promotions as needed. Training is available for fuel dispensing and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years old (as per regs for dispensing fuel)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player able to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting required
• Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision – applicable locations
• Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Position:

Gas Bar Attendant

Part-time:

24to36hours per week.Benefiteligibleafter3months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability:

Weekdays and evenings

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision – applicable locations
