Job summary

Central Alberta Co-op is seeking a part-time Gas Bar Attendant for our Spruce View location. The role involves serving customers, handling payments, maintaining a clean station, and assisting with propane dispensing at applicable sites.

The position requires strong customer service and cash-handling abilities, with availability weekdays and weekends mornings to evenings. Training is provided for fuel dispensing, and there are opportunities for growth within the co-op network.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision – applicable locations
• Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Position:

Gas Bar Attendant

Part-time:

24to36hours per week.Benefiteligibleafter3months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability:

Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
