Job summary

Timberlands Gas Bar in Red Deer is looking for a casual Gas Bar Attendant to join our fast-paced team. You will greet customers, handle payments, and help maintain a clean, safe fueling area.

This role offers flexible weekday/weekend shifts, opportunities to learn fuel dispensing and propane handling, on-site training, and participation in our Total Rewards program.

Responsibilities

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our Timberlands Gas Bar in Red Deer is the perfect place for you! We're currently seeking a casual Gas Bar Attendant to join our dynamic team.

Position: Gas Bar Attendant

Casual: Less than 24 hours per week

Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision – applicable locations
• Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available
