Job summary

Canada Goose is seeking a Manual Spreader in Winnipeg to spread and cut lays per markers, maintain accurate records, and keep the workspace safe and clean. You will coordinate with the supervisor, verify orders, and ensure proper materials handling in a fast-paced garment manufacturing setting.

Preferred candidates have garment industry experience, good numeracy, and strong initiative to meet deadlines, with the ability to focus for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Good command of English.
• Self-directed with ability to complete projects with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take instructions from Supervisor.
• Read cutting orders and ensure accuracy of styles and sizes.
• Check fabric and markers for correct yardage and codes.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and follow safety guidelines.
• Record completed cutting orders and report issues to Supervisor.
