Job summary

Groupe Dynamite is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Garage/Dynamite store in Canada. You will report to the Store Manager and help drive a positive shopping experience, lead a high-performing team, and ensure smooth daily store operations including inventory, replenishment, and eCommerce fulfillment.

You will contribute to sales growth, brand presentation, scheduling flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), and customer satisfaction while maintaining company standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; business education asset.
• 2 years of management experience in fashion retail or similar.
• Customer-focused with passion for fashion and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Job summary:

Reporting to the Store Manager, your main focus as the Assistant Manager is to assist the Store Manager in all aspects of the store operations, by providing leadership that optimises sales results. You promote a positive shopping experience for each customer, while leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. You play an important role in the day to day operations of the store. You contribute to optimising inventory management, and to increasing sales and customer satisfaction while maintaining the brand and visual/merchandising presentation standards & directives in the store. You also contribute to the management of the inventory through shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and eCom order fulfilment. You are an integral part of the success of your store!

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent management experience
• Has passion for fashion & is customer-oriented
• Demonstrate solving skills and decision making abilities
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
• Excellent organisational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Build partnerships and prioritise collaboration
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office

• Is available to work a on flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as per business needs
