Job summary

QuadReal Property Group is seeking a Gallery Host to manage the front-line operation and presentation of the Oakridge Park Presentation Centre in Vancouver. You will welcome visitors, provide basic information, conduct light tours when staff are busy, and register visitor details for follow-up.

You will support sales staff by taking down client details and directing purchasers to the Customer Care team as needed.

Role Description

The Gallery Host is responsible for the front-line operation and presentation of the Oakridge Park Presentation Centre. This role ensures a welcoming, organized, and professional environment for visitors, providing basic information and tours while supporting sales staff during busy periods. Hosts also play an important role in registering visitors, maintaining gallery operations, and directing both prospective clients and existing purchasers to the appropriate teams.

Responsibilities

Presentation Centre Operations

• Open and close the Presentation Centre as required.
• Ensure the gallery is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Monitor general operations and support daily readiness of the space.

Visitor Engagement & Registration

• Welcome walk-in visitors and provide basic information about Oakridge Park.
• Conduct general introductions or light tours when sales staff are occupied.
• Register all visitors accurately and capture contact details for follow-up.

Sales & Purchaser Support

• Take down client details when Sales Managers or Sales Assistants are busy.
• For existing purchasers visiting with questions related to deficiencies or concerns, direct them to the Customer Care team.
• Support a calm, courteous, and professional visitor experience at all times.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, customer service, retail, or front-of-house roles preferred.
• Comfortable interacting with the public and handling multiple inquiries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and detail-focused.
• Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for weekends and peak hours.

The expected hourly range for this role is $20 – $25.

Students must be legally authorized to work in Canada as the company does not provide work permit sponsorship for this role.
