Job summary

Coke Canada Bottling is seeking a Cooler Service Field Technician (Afternoon Shift) to service cold drink equipment across a designated region. The role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs in the field, with a company vehicle provided for travel.

The position is Brampton-based, with afternoons on Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in general technical roles, HVAC/Refrigeration experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

  • Refrigeration or HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of general technical experience.
  • 1+ year refrigeration/HVAC experience.
  • Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience.
  • Prior diagnostic troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field to keep it in proper operating condition.
  • Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment including preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory by performing bi-annual inventory audits and keeping the vehicle organized.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships with effective communication.

  • Shift/Hours–Afternoon shift (2 PM - 11 PM), either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.
  • Hourly Rate – Starting at $34.36/hour

About This Opportunity

Coke Canada Bottling Cooler Service Field Technicians are the primary contact for maintenance, repair and mechanical service on cold drink equipment for a variety of stores throughout a designated region.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field to keep in proper operating condition
  • Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment including preventative maintenance
  • Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory by practicing Kaizen initiatives; this includes ordering new supplies, performing bi-annual inventory audits, and keeping vehicle clean and organized
  • Maintain positive customer relationships
  • Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Maintainpositive customer relationships with effective communication
Qualifications
  • Refrigeration or HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of general technical experience
  • One (1) plus years of refrigeration/HVAC experience
  • Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience.
  • Prior diagnostic troubleshooting is an asset
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record free from any violations for the past 3 years
  • Ability to consistently bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
