Job summary

Ayming Canada is seeking a results-driven SR&ED consultant to help clients maximize government incentives across Canada. You will evaluate client projects, plan and execute SR&ED claims, interview technical personnel, and prepare technical reports in line with CRA criteria.

You’ll identify opportunities to expand funding programs and tax credits while advising on opportunities to improve client documentation and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, robotics, automation, mechanical engineering, chemistry or similar.
• Prior consulting experience; SR&ED experience is an asset.
• Proven client relationship experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating client projects and activities in relation to the SR&ED tax incentive program.
• Planning, organizing and executing SR&ED claims, including interviews of technical personnel, and structuring projects according to government criteria.
• Preparing the required technical reports corresponding to eligible expenditures.
• Evaluating client documentation systems, training staff and developing strategies to maximize claim benefits, following the methodologies and tools developed by Ayming.
• Advising and acting on behalf of our clients to support claims under review by the CRA.
• Identifying opportunities in clients’ operations to introduce additional Ayming funding programs, tax credits, grants, and cost-saving services.
