Job summary

Ayming Canada is seeking a qualified SR&ED consultant to evaluate client projects for eligibility under the SR&ED program, plan and execute claims, and prepare technical reports. You will work with client teams to maximize benefits and identify opportunities for additional funding and credits.

As a key member of the Canada-wide practice, you will leverage our methodologies, engage with technical personnel, and deliver high-quality documentation for CRA review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, robotics, automation, mechanical engineering, chemistry or other similar fields.
• Prior consulting experience (SR&ED experience would be an asset)
• Proven client relationship experience
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client projects and activities in relation to the SR&ED tax incentive program.
• Plan, organize and execute SR&ED claims, including interviews of technical personnel, and structure projects according to government criteria.
• Prepare the required technical reports corresponding to eligible expenditures.
• Evaluate client documentation systems, train staff and develop strategies to maximize claim benefits, following the methodologies and tools developed by Ayming.
• Advise and act on behalf of our clients to support claims under review by the CRA.
• Identify opportunities in clients’ operations to introduce additional Ayming funding programs, tax credits, grants, and cost-saving services
