Job summary

ABL Employment is seeking an experienced G Licensed driver with 6-ton truck experience to join the team in Oakville, ON. Shifts vary week to week, Monday through Sunday, with weekend availability required. You will drive a 25 FT Hino on varied routes across the GTA, with a driver’s helper on board.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, safety checks, and safe handling of deliveries and donations, plus loading/unloading at warehouses and using pallet or pump trucks throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Valid G driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 6-ton truck.
• Willingness to work variable day shifts, including weekends.

• Deliver and handle donations and other items to routes across the GTA.
• Load/unload at warehouse and delivery locations using pallet or pump trucks, with lifting throughout shifts.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced G Licensed driver with 6-ton truck experience to join our team. Hours can fluctuate week to week, so you would need to be flexible for Monday to Sunday shifts. Location: Oakville, ON

Schedule: Shifts vary based on needs, and weekend availability will be needed.
Monday to Saturday: 8:00AM-4:30PM
Sunday: 9:00AM-5:30PM

You’ll be driving a 25 FT Hino truck on different routes each day throughout the GTA, with a driver’s helper joining you on routes. Your responsibilities will include completing daily vehicle inspections, safety and circle checks, and ensuring deliveries, donations, and other items are handled safely.

This role also involves loading and unloading at the warehouse and delivery locations, using a pallet or pump truck, and performing repetitive lifting throughout the shift.

To be considered, you’ll need:

• A valid G driver’s license
• 2+ years of experience driving a 6-ton truck
• A clean driver’s abstract (proof required)
• Flexibility to work day shifts Monday-Sunday

Experience with CVOR compliance and commercial vehicle inspections is an asset but not required.
