Job summary

General Fusion Inc. in Richmond, BC is seeking a Junior Business Development Coordinator to support strategic partnerships with national labs, universities, and industry. This entry-level role offers exposure to partnership management and market development in the fusion/energy sector.

You will help research potential collaborators, draft proposals, coordinate contracts, and assist with external validation, events, and communications as part of a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 2+ years in partnerships, business development, or external-facing coordination in tech.
• Strong relationship-building and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Based in Vancouver, BC or willing to relocate; onsite three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a network of technical collaborations with national labs, universities, and industry.
• Coordinate grant proposals and program applications with internal teams.
• Support market development, MDAC administration and partner expansion.
• Attend conferences and prepare technical content for outreach with Marketing.
• Coordinate events and conference logistics as part of the Conference Committee.
