Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Furniture Service Technician in Canada to manage furniture, perform moves, assembly and disassembly, and reconfigure workstations. The role includes event setups, inventory management, and post-installation tasks such as whiteboard installation and lock audits.

The candidate will assemble, install, and adjust furniture and office equipment, respond to client requests, and collaborate with stakeholders to complete projects on time.

Qualifications

• Experience with furniture management including moves, assembly, and reconfiguration.
• Ability to lift, move, set up, and install furniture and office equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, disassembles, moves, installs and sets up furniture, including replacement of locks.
• Builds, dismantles and reconfigures workstations.
• Hangs pictures, whiteboard and other items on the wall.
• Performs inspections on furnishings.
• Troubleshoots and completes repairs as required.
• Responsible for meeting and event setups as required by the Client.
• Reset, cut and audit of locks and lockers — keeps inventory.
