Arbor Memorial's Nisbett Funeral Home in Peterborough, Ontario, seeks a Funeral Director Assistant to support Funeral Directors and greet families, including driving funeral vehicles when required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist families on arrival at the funeral home.
• Assist with removals and transfers of decedents to the funeral home or crematorium.
• Prepare rooms during visitations, rituals, services and burials.
• Drive funeral vehicles as required by the funeral home.
• Perform building upkeep and vehicle maintenance including washing and cleaning.
• Undertake other duties or special projects as required.

As a Funeral Director Assistant at NISBETT FUNERAL HOME,located in PETERBOROUGH, ONTARIO,you will have the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service to the families we serve by providing support to Funeral Directors in all aspects of funeral services, including: greeting and assisting families upon their arrival at the funeral home and driving funeral vehicles when required.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting families upon their arrival at the funeral home.
• Assisting with removals, transfers of decedent to the funeral home or crematorium as required.
• Assisting with the preparation of various rooms, during visitations, various rituals, funeral services, burials and any other related tasks.
• Driving funeral vehicles when required by the funeral home.
• Performing general building upkeep and ensuring the proper maintenance of funeral service vehicles including washing, interior care, cleaning, polishing, general vehicle maintenance including scheduling and service care plans.
• Other duties or special projects as required.
