enCompass Community Safety Agency is seeking a Fund Development Coordinator (0.8 FTE) to help turn a growing philanthropy strategy into action and build a sustainable funding base in Edmonton. You will support donor engagement, grant opportunities and sponsorships, while coordinating a robust CRM and donor communications.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in fundraising or related field.
• 2–3 years in fundraising or fund development.
• Proven ability to initiate outreach and cultivate relationships.
• Strong written communication for proposals and donor communications.
• Exceptional relationship-building with donors and partners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with CRM systems to track donors and activities.
• Grant writing or corporate partnerships experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of donor privacy and receipting is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the fund development strategy and campaigns.
• Research and cultivate corporate, foundation and individual supporters.
• Maintain a fundraising pipeline with prospects, opportunities, deadlines and follow-up.
• Contribute to grant applications and sponsorship proposals, reports and funding requests.
• Coordinate donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgements and impact updates.
• Support individual giving campaigns including donor acquisition, retention and Giving Tuesday.
• Build and support corporate relationships through outreach and proposals.
• Maintain accurate donor, prospect, activity and opportunity data in the CRM.
• Collaborate with communications to develop donor-focused materials and content.
• Track fundraising activity, revenue, pipeline progress and report to leadership.
