Job summary

Manulife Financial Corporation is seeking a Fund Accountant for PE Fund Accounting to oversee monthly and quarterly investor reporting, and to coordinate the accounting record for private asset funds and separately managed accounts. The role collaborates with investment operations, front office, and finance teams to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in alternative investments accounting, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with Investran; bilingual

Qualifications

• 3+ years of alternative investment accounting experience, including testing and system familiarity (Investran preferred).
• Experience with pension, insurance, or related investment operations is valuable.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across finance, operations, and front office.

Responsibilities

• Produce bookings into the accounting system and test reports for data migration and onboarding.
• Oversee daily NAV and ensure accuracy of the portfolio accounting records.
• Reconcile trial balances between systems and supervise issue resolution with administrator.
• Provide data to front office, finance, compliance, and leadership as required.
• Coordinate with technology teams to ensure sound data feeds to the administrator.
