Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking an AI Engineer for Portless to design, build and deploy AI-powered systems for scalable logistics and e-commerce tasks. The role is remote across North America with roughly 6 hours overlap with ET and a full-time engagement.

You will own the ML lifecycle, work with LLMs and CV, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver impactful AI features, requiring strong Python and ML framework skills and production experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
