Job summary

Cross Border Talents is partnering with Portless to recruit an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy intelligent systems that optimize supply-chain operations at scale. This remote, full-time role spans North America with ~6-hour overlap with Eastern Time, offering a chance to shape AI in a fast-growing logistics space.

You will build and deploy AI/ML models, work with LLMs and computer vision, own the ML lifecycle from data to deployment, and collaborate with product and engineering to ship

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.

Portless is transforming e-commerce logistics with AI. We are looking for an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy intelligent systems that automate and optimise supply-chain operations at scale.

What you'll do

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment
• Monitor and improve model performance in production

What we're looking for

Essential

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience deploying models to production
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship)
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics, e-commerce or supply chain
• LLM fine-tuning and RAG experience
