Job summary

FCC in Canada is seeking a Developer to design, develop, test and deploy high-quality code for marketing technology and digital platforms. You will translate business needs into scalable solutions and collaborate with developers, analysts and business partners in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Minimum two years of hands-on software development experience.
• Ability to write, test, and maintain production code with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Gatsby, React and Angular.
• Experience integrating applications with AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience building RESTful APIs (Backend: Java, Spring Boot; Frontend: TypeScript, Angular).
• Knowledge of frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot or Django.
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop new code, including automation and tests.
• Implement code fixes and support user testing.
• Build and execute automated tests.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and develop new code, including automation, integration and unit tests
• Implement code fixes and support user testing

• Ensure technical solutions are developed and maintained efficiently and effectively

Required Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the team

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
• Minimum two years of hands‑on software development experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Demonstrated ability to write, test, and maintain high‑quality production code with minimal supervision
• Strong proficiency in modern web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Gatsby, React and Angular (version 12 or higher)
• Experience integrating applications with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs (Backend: Language = Java, Framework = Spring Boot, Frontend: Language = Typescript, Framework = Angula)
• Working knowledge of one or more modern frameworks or technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, or Django
• Solid experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Experience working within an Agile development environment, including collaboration with cross‑functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot
• Familiarity with web and API authentication and authorization
• Proficiency using GIT for version control
• Experience creating web services and APIs
• Work experience in financial services, lending or agriculture industries
