Job summary

Farm Credit Canada is seeking a Developer to design, develop, test and deploy high-quality code for marketing tech and digital platforms in a hybrid work environment in Canada.

You will translate business needs into scalable solutions, collaborate with developers, analysts and business partners, and contribute to real-world solutions while growing technical skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
• Minimum two years of hands-on software development experience
• Proven ability to write, test, and maintain high-quality production code with minimal supervision
• Strong proficiency in modern web development technologies and frameworks

What you’ll do

What you’ll bring to the team

• Required qualifications Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field Minimum two years of hands‑on software development experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Demonstrated ability to write, test, and maintain high‑quality production code with minimal supervision Strong proficiency in modern web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Gatsby, React and Angular (version 12 or higher) Experience integrating applications with cloud platforms, particularly AWS Proven experience building RESTful APIs (Backend: Language = Java, Framework = Spring Boot, Frontend: Language = Typescript, Framework = Angula) Working knowledge of one or more modern frameworks or technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, or Django Solid experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL Experience working within an Agile development environment, including collaboration with cross‑functional teams
• Preferred qualifications Exposure to marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot Familiarity with web and API authentication and authorization Proficiency using GIT for version control Experience creating web services and APIs Work experience in financial services, lending or agriculture industries
