Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled software developer to analyze and create production-grade code for customer-facing portals in a dynamic, Agile environment. You will integrate with cloud services (AWS), build RESTful APIs, and work across legacy and new systems while collaborating with analysts and business partners.

Required: 2+ years of software development, strong skills in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Gatsby, React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, and databases like SQL

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Minimum two years of hands-on software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to write, test, and maintain high-quality production code with minimal supervision.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Gatsby, React and Angular version 12 or higher.
• Experience integrating applications with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript and Angular.
• Working knowledge of React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, or Django.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in an Agile development environment and cross-functional collaboration.
• English required.
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
• Preferred: exposure to HubSpot, web and API authentication and authorization, GIT, web services and APIs, and financial services, lending or agriculture industries
